HBOI Rescue of Winter the Tail-Less Dolphin
After the Hurricane season of 2004, FAU-HBOI was unable to accept Winter into their rehab facility for immediate care. Through the efforts of Hubbs-Sea World and Clearwater Aquarium, Winter has been able to receive treatment and make a full recovery form he rinjuries.
Goldstein works closely with veterinary staff from Hubbs-Sea World and Clearwater Aquarium to manage Winter's rehabilitation program. Through a collaborative effort, Winter is learning how to swim with her new prosthetic tail!
