Girls on the Run® is a life-changing learning program for girls ages eight to thirteen years old that combines training for a 3.1 mile running event with self-esteem enhancing, uplifting workshops. The Girls on the Run objective is to reduce at-risk activities such as adolescent
pregnancy, eating disorders, depression and suicide attempts, and substance/alcohol abuse problems. Juli is working to establish a pilot chapter in Indian River County where she hopes to support young girls in the community so that they can develop healthy lifestyles and positive self=images.
